If you fancy a car with state-of-the art coil springs, you’ll have to shell out $200,000 for a Ferrari Challenge Stradale. But for less then $200, you can own another sort of coil spring suspension—on your shoes. A pair of Z-CoiLs may look a little goofy, but the steel springs beneath the heels act as shock absorbers that can, say the manufacturers, reduce the pain of ailments from arthritis to heel spurs. Scientific research seems to bear them out. Two studies, one at the University of New Mexico and the other at Sandia National Laboratories, concluded that Z-CoiLs distribute weight far more evenly over a runner’s feet than brand-name cushioned shoes and also provide 50 to 100 percent more cushioning. The overall effect is to reduce the impact—equivalent to one-and-a-half times body weight when walking and three to four times when running—when feet collide with the ground. During a jog or fast walk, the shoes make a city street feel like a bed of firm moss.

Why wait?

It is interesting that in many cases of people coming in the store, they have seen or been told about Z-CoiL Footwear at least three times... Sometimes, their doctor first recommends them and they do some research. Then they might see someone with them on and talk to them and get a good report. Finally, they see someone else or someone they know buys some and tells them their personal life-changing story. Finally, they are motivated to come into the store and check them out.

We had another such case this week with a woman who's doctor recommended them, she talked to someone in them, and then her doctor recommended them once again. At this point, 5 months had passed before she finally came in the store!

She put some on and just kept saying "unbelievable, unbelievable..." Her foot pain was drastically reduced and she was actually able to put her full body weight on the foot that had given her such severe issues for many, many years. Of course, her next statement was "Why haven't I come in before? Why have I waited this long?" Only she can answer that... was it the looks (we are a bit unique looking!)? Was it the price? Was it just doubt that anything can help?

The good part is that you don't have to wait! I don't know of any Z-CoiL distributor that charges to try shoes on! In fact, many have very liberal return policies. At EZ Shoes, we allow a person to wear their Z-CoiL's in their normal life for 7 days. In that timeframe, we ask that if they are experiencing any issue, they return to us and let us adjust them. If we can't get them adjusted, and they are brought back in good condition, we give a full refund. We call it "The 7 Day Test Drive."

So, why wait... we aren't charging to try them on and many people get some relief while in the store! Come see us today!

November is Diabetes Month – Z-CoiL Pain Relief Footwear Can Help!

Z-CoiL dealers and diabetic customers nationwide are finding that the cushioned padded forefoot bed and springy heeled shoe provide much needed relief for diabetic feet. Although Z-CoiL pain relief footwear are not promoted or approved by the FDA as diabetic footwear, the lives of many people with diabetes are dramatically changed for the better through the use of Z-CoiL Pain Relief Footwear.

Diabetics wear Z-Coils because, in many instances, the springy footwear dramatically reduces the swelling and stops the impact to their feet. Much of the swelling appears to depart when Z-CoiLs are worn. But, complications do not always completely disappear because water retention and the constant pounding with each step they take contribute to the swelling. The built-in orthotic also protects the diabetic foot from injuries that could cause other problems.

We have had a number of people who have had burning and numbness in their feet, symptoms associated with a diabetes condition called neuropathy. By taking the pressure off of the forefront of the foot and the heels, the symptoms are reduced significantly and the customer is able to enjoy a more normal life.

We are able to modify the built-in orthotic to ensure that the diabetic has ample room in the footwear to eliminate any potential issues with rubbing and creating open sores on the feet. Also, the coil is adjustable so that we can put a softer side on the back of the footwear to eliminate even more of the shock that their feet would normally endure.

So, if you are diabetic and are looking for a new pair of footwear, stop by and try on a pair of Z-COiL's! You won't regret it.

Skeptic!

We had a lady come into the store the other day, who was forced in by her friend. She had nerve damage in her ankle and foot plus had problems with her knees. She is an Inn Keeper and was very skeptical about Z-CoiL's. Her comments were that she could never wear these to work because of how ugly they were. Her tone and attitude was that her mind was made up and that Z-CoiL's could not help her problems. She had just walked 4 hours at a flea market before she came in and she was hurting pretty bad.

She was finally convinced to try some on, and after walking just a few minutes, she had a huge smile on her face! She could not believe the comfort and how they had reduced her pain significantly! She was totally amazed and wondered why she had not heard of them and how we can get the word out more!

She went from a skeptic to a proud owner of 2 pair of Z-CoiL's and my guess is that she will add to those in the near future.

The bottom line is that unless you try them on and experience the pain relief qualities, you will never know if they will work for you!

Shirley MacLaine wearing Z-CoiLs in the National Enquirer (Nov. 2002)

A photo of actress Shirley MacLaine wearing Z-CoiLs appeared on the second page of the November 26, 2002 issue of The National Enquirer.

The Caption Reads

TALK ABOUT putting a little spring in your step!

Every out-there Shirley MacLaine puts her weirdest foot forward with a pair of truly bizarre shoes while strolling in Beverly Hills. The 68-year-old screen veteran is still a working girl in Hollywood, appearing last year in 'These Old Broads.' And it's only fitting that Shirley's latest movie is titled 'Hell on Hells: The battle of Mary Key'!

E-Mail Excerpt from Shirley MacLaine's webmaster:

We meet folk at various spots in the country that have them and swear by them. Shirley still wears them and loves them.
